International Development: The poor are poor because they don't earn enough

The Asian Development Bank has said that governments in Asia and the Pacific, must focus on promoting full, productive, and decent employment if the region is to poverty and improve living standards.

Ifzal Ali, ADB's Chief Economist said: "the poor are poor because they earn too little from the work they do."

Isn't it nice to know that NGOs can afford highly paid executives with such incredible vision and insight.
