Oil and Gas: South Korea and Oman agree to LNG deal

Oman and South Korea have agreed to jointly build and operate an LNG holding facility to counter sudden fluctuations in supply and demand, The Korea Times reported.

The facility is likely to be built in Oman, according to a Korean Gas Corp official. Oman supplies 4.34m tons a year of LNG to South Korea, 19.4% of its requirements.
