Bilateral Relations: Iran and Turkey to boost mutual security cooperation

Turkish government spokesman and deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek said Friday that Ankara plans cooperation with Iran in security, and narcotics and terrorism campaign domains.

Cicek told Iran's Ambassador to Ankara Bahman Hosseinpour that Iran and Turkey should however widen the scope of their cooperation.

Hosseinpour on his part said that Iran is ready for cooperation with Turkey at the highest possible level.
