Pakistan: Sufis under attack from Muslim fighters

In Pakistan, shrines belonging to the mystical Islamic sect of Sufism have been increasingly attacked by Muslim fighters who disagree with their religious beliefs and practices.

In the most recent assault, two suicide bombers struck the grave site of the Sufi saint Abdullah Shah Ghazi in the Pakistani city of Karachi, killing about 8 people and injuring scores of others.

The violence has repelled many in the country from praying at the shrines.
